Too many years have passed since the familia has gathered. Our bond was once our mother but when she passed, try as we might, we were unable to replicate our times together when she was around. La Familia Reunion is about the bond that has outlasted the pain of our loss and our time of separation. It was inevitable that this time would come and we would reshape what familia means to us and the next generation of la familia.

Etna Acres Golf Course
Gene and Joby Kaufman along with Gene's parents, Burlin and Jo, and many uncles, started building the golf course in 1959 from the 40 acre farm. Etna Acres opened on July 4, 1960 with 65 golfers and hot dogs cooked in a popcorn popper. An additional 30 acres was added in 1967. On July 4, 2020 Etna Acres celebrated its 60th birthday!
